Ahi (Yellowfin) Tuna Crudo Recipe

  • 3/4 pound ahi yellowfin tuna sushi grade
  • 1 tbsp ponzu sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 tsp sesame oil toasted
  • 1 cucumber


  • Cut tuna into 1/4 inch thick slices; cut the bloodline out if needed- transfer to a plate
  • Thinly slice cucumber using a sharp knife and place them in between tuna slices
  • Drizzle the fish with the ponzu sauce and sesame oil; Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately
