Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Duck Fat
  • 2 Olive Oil
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic
  • 2 Sprigs Rosemary
  • 2 Sprigs Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2 Ribeye Steaks
  • 1 Pair Of Split Lobster Tails
  • Blue Crab Bay Garlic Herb Seasoning
  • 1 Groomer’s Grilling Wood Plank

Instructions

  • Pre heat your oven to 270 degrees while you allow your steak to reach room temperature.
  • Heat a large Cast iron skillet with 3 – 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Once your steak is at room temperature and your skillet is very hot, season generously with salt and pepper then place the steak in the pan away from your body.
  • Sear for 3-5 minutes on each side then remove skillet from stove top and place in your pre-heated oven for about 7 minutes.
  • Remove the cast iron skillet from the oven and add duck fat, garlic, & herbs into the pan, tilting the pan to baste the steak for about 2 mins and then sprinkle Blue Crab Bay.
  • Pull the steak off and place your steak to rest on a cutting board.
  • Place your split lobster tails on your pre soaked Groomers Grilling Wood Plank (pro tip, place a skewer into the tail to keep them from curling), then brush on some duck fat and sprinkle on Blue Crab Bay seasoning.
  • Place into the oven @ 280 degrees for 10 minutes or until tail is bright red and meat is thoroughly cooked.
  • Pair with your favorite vegetable (or not)!
