
Baked Lemon Basil Parmesan Crusted Flounder
Combined freshly grated Parmesan with breadcrumbs, lemon zest and basil to form a tasty, buttery topping for the flaky white fish. This recipe for baked flounder cooks in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
- 4 8 oz flounder fillets
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper fresh
- ¾ c parmesan cheese freshly grated
- ½ c breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp basil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 2 bsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. In a large baking dish, season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
- Mix the Parmesan with the breadcrumbs, melted butter, olive oil, lemon zest and basil
- Sprinkle the parmesan and breadcrumb mixture over the fillets. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked and the topping is golden.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
