Baked Lemon Basil Parmesan Crusted Flounder

Ingredients

  • 4 8 oz flounder fillets
  • kosher salt
  • ground black pepper fresh
  • ¾ c parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • ½ c breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 bsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F. In a large baking dish, season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the Parmesan with the breadcrumbs, melted butter, olive oil, lemon zest and basil
  • Sprinkle the parmesan and breadcrumb mixture over the fillets. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked and the topping is golden.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
