Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mahi Mahi

Ingredients

  • 4 6oz Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper

Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper optional
  • 1 tbsp parsley or basil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lemon juice

Instructions

Sear mahi mahi

  • Pat fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear fillets 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce

  • In the same pan, lower heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Whisk in Parmesan and Dijon, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Add crushed red pepper, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

Bring It Together

  • Return Mahi Mahi to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes until everything’s warmed through.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Can be served with mashed potatoes, veggies, bread or pasta.
