
Ingredients
- 4 6oz Mahi Mahi fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
Sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper optional
- 1 tbsp parsley or basil
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 lemon juice
Instructions
Sear mahi mahi
- Pat fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear fillets 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- In the same pan, lower heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Whisk in Parmesan and Dijon, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add crushed red pepper, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Bring It Together
- Return Mahi Mahi to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until everything’s warmed through.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
Can be served with mashed potatoes, veggies, bread or pasta.
